More intriguing and beautifully formed Ametrine Spirit Quartz cluster. Some sit very nicely with the points upright. They are a unique form of amethyst / citrine points which is found only in South Africa.
The cluster in this colour was considered higher grade but I believe it was supply/demand dictating this.
Actually they are not really points but are a main quartz point around which smaller crystals grew. That makes them really a cluster! So this is a cluster of clusters.
They also get called Fairy Quartz.
