Have you seen an Australian Clear Quartz Cluster? With a delightful range of botrroidal formations that make it look like anandalite. The points are opaque as it’s been from a cave long lost to a water source. Most of my speciments show this opaqueness is typical of most Australian crystals due to age of cave and dryness of locality. It is surprisingly difficult to get Australian crystals that are not rocks. But that’s because the mountains have worn away of millennia and with no volcanic action in forever.
