This is so lovely and so very unusual, that I bet nearly everyone has never seen a Calcite Specimen like this before. It is called “Pagoda” or mushroom calcite. The crystals have interestingly grown like pancakes which then joined up into a cluster. And there are lovely druzy crystals on some sides of it.
I hope my photos do it justice. The calcite is translucent. And here is a video of it too.
I suspect a geological or decorative collector will buy this. For the person also wanting healing, the very pale pink colour is considered to support love and wrap you in the feminine energies of flow and serenity. It helps us to gain our composure and gives us control over our emotions. It is said to balances the assimilation of calcium within the body, strengthening the skeleton and joints.
This calcite specimen is from China and I only ever saw this form at one other time and I kept that one for myself 🙂 I was tempted to add this one but it said it had a forever friend out there waiting for it.
