Calligraphy Stone – Fluorite Cluster

Most people do not realize that Calligraphy Stone is cross sections of this purple fluorite cluster. It comes from China it is botryoidal form. Out of all the year we bought from a supplier we only saw this form once. I purchased all 5 pieces, kept one for me, two sold at the shop and now the smaller is on the website for all to admire. There is a much larger cluster at Crows Nest.

This definition was as per Judy Hall’s book however these days the name has moved to that of Miriam Stone a fossil jasper. It was named that because the cross section looked like calligraphic writing. The puple is a soft form that would be called lavender.

This crystal is stimulating to the Third Eye Chakra and to mental energies in general. Personally I wear it a lot to bring onto the physical plane higher forms of truth and integrating those concepts into the mind. It calms my mental energy to better receiving of insights and gives me a “pick me up” after expending a lot of mental energy on tasks (or worry!)

The card we got with it said “Shu Fa Stone, Gu Xian, Henan Province China. The intricate bpx work of he Shu Fa Stone has a striking resemblance to the beautiful brushstrokes of Chinese calligraphy. Each piece is unique in its geometric pattern and colour. The intriguing colour form from a thin exterior of translucent, botryoidal lavender to white fluorite that drapes over the hard sandstone matrix.”
