I am always on the lookout for the unusual and this Banded Jasper Sphere was a great find. It was sold as Picasso Jasper, but it doesn’t look like those I have. I have never seen anything like it so I cannot give its correct name. It is black and white/cream with agate/chalcedony so brecciated jasper fits best. The patterning is stunning. It is so very planetary!

I will let the video do it justice. I see someone looking for a standout polished crystal to snap this up.

Can be hard to know if some stones are xxx agate or xxx jasper. They both belong to chalcedony so you need to know how they grew.
Fossils mostly convert in jaspers like Turritella Jasper.
