We are excited to buy Pakistani crystals and shaped crystals including these called Chocolate Calcite Palm Stones. They are banded and patterned tan-brown specimens. They are a beautiful cleaner of energy and helping you earth yourself deeper.
These do look like banded aragonite from Peru. Aragonite and calcite are often present together as over a very long time aragonite become calcite. Cool!
Like all calcites I would not put it in the sun nor put it some where it could be scratched.
