Clear Quartz Tower – Quirky and Special

Need a uniquely shaped clear quartz tower? I took this crystal to lapidary club to change it into an upright.

We received some pebbles that were not top grade but once I really looked at them I realised how delightfully unique and this was the quirkiest of them all. At certain angles it seems almost translucent and at other angles you see great clarity. There is only a minor inclusion of chlorite, I think.

Use it:

• as pillow shapes are lovely to hold even carry in a pocket,
• to massage with
• to lay on the body for healing,
• or to add height to a collection.

I have only made one to see if it captures people’s interest.

Cacoxenite in Quartz

Green spots and splashes in clear quartz. Most often from Brazil. Emerald green colour coated all over a quartz cluster is painted quartz from China - the quartz is usually a milky quartz that wouldn't have sold easily.
