Fluorite Cluster Rogerley Mine UK

Have you hear of the stunning Rogerly Mine Fluorite Clusters from the UK?  Here is a group of charming mineral specimens showing clearly with lovely bright and gorgeous emerald green cubes. Some even have blue! And the cubic structure of the crystals is obvious.

Most buyers are geological collectors so it is great that they look delightful on a desk or shelf. I can advise that Europe as a strict mining code regarding ethics and this mine adheres to that. Most fluorite from this mine fluoresces but I do not have black light to test.

These are much nicer with more intense colour than the photos but that’s always the problem with fluorite. The true clarity and colours fail to be captured! I wish I knew why! However the blue is more evident in the sunshine so is that due to fluorescence?

• Cluster A has a lot of galena crystals on the matrix and across some cubes.
• Dimensions are for C which has the least clear cubes.
• C and D more easily show blue with the green.
• D is the best quality of the group.

Prices (and discounts) are set based on clarity, colour, inclusions and so on. The matrix sets the colour off amazingly I cannot find information on what it is as it seems from a new pocket. All I can find out is the area is limestone and galena is often present.
