Have you hear of the stunning Fluorite Clusters from the well known Rogerley Mine? This is charming piece showing clearly with lovely bright and gorgeous emerald green cubes. Much nicer than the photos but that’s always the problem with fluorite.
The edges are not as good as other pieces hence the discount. But if you have no comparison you will love it. They show their lovely translucence and depth of colour. The matrix sets the colour off amazingly I cannot find information on what it is as it seems from a new pocket. All I can find out is the area is limestone and galena is often present.
It is wonderful to hold and meditate with. But also looks delightful on a desk or shelf. I can advise that Europe as a strict mining code regarding ethics and this mine adheres to that. Most fluorite from this mine fluoresce but I do not have black light to test.
