I have been buying crystals for 15 years. From time to time Nature throws in something that is spectacularly different. This is one such crystal. This is  Hematite Blades on Quartz Cluster which has stunning hematite flowers clinging to the outside of the quartz. China seems to be the only country that grows it in this form. I have collected a few over my 15 years every second or third year when they pop up as they are rare. We have only one larger one remaining at Crows Nest.

The quartz is translucent with one point having great clarity. There are heaps of hematite blades. It is on a strong brown matrix shot through with hematite and quartz. The back/base has been cut flat.

I expect geological collectors will be the buyers or the recipients of these although I have sold quite a few to people who enjoy crystals for metaphysical reasons too.

This hematite on quartz cluster will need an acrylic stand to display well if you want it on a shelf.
