Black Tourmaline’s energy is fantastic for those who are sensitive energetically and want protection/clean up from the negativity of others for themselves, home or work.

I believe these are Black Tourmaline Ruler specimens from I do not know where possibly India. They are not “cleaned” in chemicals and so a coating of the mica and albite is present all over them. We had only seen polished versions so we are excited at having raw crystals. Each has a natural “end that allow it to stand upright. That allows it to be a piece that adds height to a collection of crystals. Or lay it flat. It is a lot stronger (less breakable) tourmaline than Brazilian so works well if placed at the door to keep out bad energies.
I intuit this crystal for many people – especially those who are sensitive energetically (empaths) and want protection from other people’s energies “coming at them”. This size would be great for a room like the hallway in front of a front door with a lot of “negative” people walking outside. For the many who ask …. it is NOT petrified wood! Dimensions are for the bottom crystal, but the weights are correct for each. They show a dusting of albite.

Black (Schorl): Strongest of the tourmalines to repels and protect against negativity. Helps you with "doom and gloom" situations - can stop night time disturbances / nightmares if place just below feet. Cleanses own energies and then open Earth Star to help you ground. Increases one's physical vitality, emotional stability and intellectual acuity. Can help with physical pain and e.g.guided to place under my dog after accidental poisoning and dehydrated - definitely helped. Can be strong from highly sensative empaths - consider green or pink instead.

By far the biggest reason people buy tourmaline is as a personal piece because they are empathic and have been getting caught up in other people emotions, so the tourmaline's protective abilities have given them big relief. The second biggest reason is to block other people energies from them (and their families) at home and the office. To a lesser extent people buy to block EMF and Wi Fi but I tend to recommend shungite instead as some testing shows shungite is more effective. However using tourmaline to block the energies of people's emotions dumped into emails and SMS, etc is still great.
