This crystal is a member of the serpentine family, as is jade. But geologically it is not a jade, it is bowenite. It has not undergone the heating metamorphosis that true jade has. I bought these as jade from a supplier after asking specifically that it be the real thing … even I get caught! Interestingly its been getting more and more expensive these last few years.
However energetically it is similar but gentler in how it gives its assistance into your field. It increases love and nurturing to bring harmony.
