Have you seen orthoclase feldspar crystals before? I cannot even remember where we got these from. It was possibly India and they were supposed to be peach moonstone. The rest of the batch definitely was. However, there is no hint of a shimmer in these, so after some research I believe these  are orthoclase feldspar. The albite which creates the shimmer is missing.
They really look very similar to a bowl-orange jasper. Given what Wikipedia says, they have from in a similar way … heat. This is an igneous rock.
