Aztec Red Calcite Cluster

Here are larger than normal forms of Red Calcite crystal specimens which I discovered recently these have a new name of Aztec Calcite or Inca Calcite depending on the red colour. They have this name because of their earthy, shamanic look and energy and that they are Mexican. These are the Aztec.

While these are normally called roughs many of these show leading edge crystal growth. These are splendid examples of this in colour and form. The shiny sheen comes from it being acid washed after extraction.
