Ruby Fuchsite Tower

I have created these Ruby Fuchsite Towers with an organic shape. The remaining more structural obelisks are quite expensive so this was to “fit the gap”. I had fun at lapidary club converting wands excess to need so they are a unique offering. I am no expert so please don’t expect perfection at the base!

You can see from the photos they have subtle patterning which makes them very interesting. The green is fuchsite, the red is ruby (and it fluoresces) and the blue is kyanite. The crimson ruby really is this gemstones as we had geologists test with a black light.

Use them for

• dry massage,
• to hold during meditation
• and to display on your desk or shelf, adding lovely height to a collection.

• Sheet mica is used principally in the electronic and electrical industries. Its usefulness in these applications is derived from its unique electrical and thermal properties and its mechanical properties.
• The purple variety is coloured by lithium and is known as lepidolite.
