I am a huge fan of smoky quartz. And I love, love, love golden rutile needles. And I have loved working with crystals to enhance them via lapidary!

These originally were not interesting to look at. Damage and with faces that didn’t let you look inside. Yet I could see golden rutile needles if I looked closely.

I took them to my lapidary club and I polished some of the faces so clarity improved and they could be seen. However I am not an expert at this so make allowances – hence the video.
