These are the new salt lamp cords which come with transformers that are designed for Himalayan Salt lamps.
State governments around Australia put in a new standards for salt lamp cords in 2020. This was an occupational health and safety need to handle the need for better waterproofing given the salt and water combination occurring with Salt lamps.
Our experience so far is that they are less prone to “blowing” the bulbs, and of course are designed to reduce the change of them causing electrical short-outs or pops.
Only WHITE cords are available.
You do NOT need to buy this if you are buying a salt lamp off this website. One cord is included with lamp, as well, as one bulb.
