A local jeweller decided to cut and polish slag copper crystal and turned them into these delightful cabochons. The old copper mine was uncovered in Sweden and my memory can’t remember if it was 1300s site or was it a Bronze Age mine. Wikipedia couldn’t help me with a better date as both options were possible.
