This is a lovely Amethyst Upright as a cluster on agate matrix with a main calcite crystal and a druzy (tiny crystal) as well. When I finally joined the lapidary club and I created a base so it could display better amount a group of crystals.
It has lovely clarity and the photos don’t do it justice. Here is a video so check out the quality and condition. It is a lovely mid colour with sparkly small-sized points. The back is not cut – it’s a natural agate.

This crystal is our biggest seller as its appeals to everyone, if not for personal use then for their home or office.
One of the difficulties with amethyst is that it has so many grades (all with misnomers) and so price comparison without visual inspection is difficult. Many of the “cheap” are two or more grades below this. All our pieces are completely natural. They are not purple-painted low grade crystals that Brazil and China often do and sold at gift shops.
This is A+ grade – great colour, clarity and colour is to the base of the points.
This amethyst upright with calcite can be washed as the matrix is agate.
