Here are mini alexandrite crystals … can you find a use for these little pieces? They are a grey-green colour in full sun. They are low grade and very raw so seeing a colour change may be hard compared to polished and faceted larger crystals.

I finally found a seller of bags of alexandrite crystals at affordable prices as a ring is tens of thousands of dollars. The bigger pieces sold quickly at the shops. The last smaller pieces are offered here.
