These are a fun extension to our range. The claw is of a bird or dragon holding a ball, and there are a pair of hands holding a sphere. The balls are coloured agate and natural golden tiger’s eye.

Discount applies across 99% of the metal pendants (but NOT 925 silver). Buy 1 or 2 pendants and a cord is added to the group. Buy 3 to 5 pendants and 2 cords are added. Buy 6 to 11 pendants and 3 cords are added. Buy 12 or more and 4 cords are added. Cords will be varying lengths but mostly 45 cm. If the pendant says it is coming on a chain, then the chain is included in the count. You will see discount applied in the Cart.

Here are more crystal pendants this time in slice, hand or claw settings. We also have similar idea as dragons.

Tiger’s eye removes frustration to bring optimism and better decisions.
The purple Agate is coloured. It brings spiritual courage and steadfastness.
Blue agate slice pendants and they have lovely patterns. The colour is distinctive because … agate does not grow in this colour – it has been coloured in Brazil. Blue is the one colour that does not fade in the sun so we will never sell pink agate pendants as that does fade easily.

We enjoyed watching the cutting, polished and colouring of agate when we were in Brazil. Fascinating to know the final step would turn them in to agate slice pendants.

The hand and claws are not strongly set so can dislodge if pulled on. Some glue will fix – ask if you want me to do it.

Composition: Jasper + Hematite + Tiger's Eye - more geological information.
Australia has the best examples.
Also from South Africa but not as nice and often not all three elements showing.

Tiger's Eye

Chatoyant - due to asbestos fibres captured in quartz
Part of Quartz family - more geological information.
Best quality is from South Africa.
Australia has banded tiger's eye which really is tiger iron with lots of tiger's eye.
Colours - Golden (most common) plus:
- Red Tiger's Eye - some natural if you can see golden too but mostly man-heated golden tiger's eye
- Blue Tiger's Eye - dark blue and mostly inter-mixed with golden colour
Artificially coloured tiger's eye through heating to different levels:
- soft green, dark blue
Some will be glass. Hints that synthetic are:
- Shape is: ball or pyramid
- Colour is: mid to dark green, pink, mid blues, yellow, orange, white, ..
Where the blue colour is surrounded by the golden colour forming an eye like pattern or shape - gets the name of "falcon's eye" or "hawke's eye"

Pietersite

Mainly from Namibia
Those with good blue colour in with the browns are now hard to get as from China
- which closed mine when 4 Dam project implemented and flooded it.
