Finally I am putting up Lepidolite Tumbles and these are larger than most. Most people don’t realise this is purple mica and the colour is from lithium.

This crystal encourages harmonious relationships because it promotes feelings of comfort and safety. This then aids in encouraging new friendships to blossom. Personally I find it most often focuses on lifting depression and worry from those who are more “Earthy” in their energies and amethyst is the wrong fit.

Special Notes

Mica is widely distributed and occurs in igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary regimes.
The earliest use of mica has been found in cave paintings created during the Upper Paleolithic period (40,000 BC to 10,000 BC).

Sheet mica is used principally in the electronic and electrical industries. Its usefulness in these applications is derived from its unique electrical and thermal properties and its mechanical properties.
The purple variety is coloured by lithium and is known as lepidolite.

- Combined with quartz creates green aventurine
