Completely natural Turquoise rings in lovely strong-design silver rings by an Australian. Stones are a blue-green colour and unusual in that they are horizontal rather than vertical to the finger. They are looking for people who love strong statement rings yet have small fingers.

Colours are good and strong but on some PC screens they may seem bleached in the photos. I have had them for a while so discount to help them find their friends.

The bands are wide and think.

Size 6 stone has a small inclusion (see photo). Size 6 is 16.5 mm internal diameter and band is thick so may suit size 5 finger. It is more blue than green. SOLD

Size 7 ring has a heavier stone with 17.4 mm internal diameter and thick band so may fit size 6 finger. It is a mix blue and green colour.

Named from French "turques" or "turquois" meaning "Turkish" the original material found on the south slopes of the Al-Mirsah-Kuh Mountains (Iran), but which found its way to Europe via Turkey.

Special Notes

Colour is green blue to sky blue with veins of browns (e.g. USA) and/or black (e.g. China).
Often turquoise is treated or faked.
- If marked properly it will be coloured blue or chryso howlite called "turquoise" howlite,
- Could be turquentine, or turquite which are reconstituted turquoise and feel gluey.
Favourite stone of Navajo Indians.
Pretties sky blue colour is called Sleeping Beauty from the USA
Do not use in any type of elixir as it does contain both Copper and Aluminum which can be toxic.
Turquoise can also be adversely affected if stored in an airtight container
