12-2-26: I need to go to Queensland to help my elderly parents so orders placed after Thursday 1 pm (AEDT) will be posted on Monday.

Big Bag of Tumbles

Price range: $48.00 through $53.00

Enjoy the many possibilities of how crystal can help. As a geological collector, there will be interest in having heaps of crystals of different types. For the metaphysical, it will be fun when you are new in collecting, to experience so many different energies.

Things got very muddled with me no longer in the shop and requesting staff to compile and then things “got lost” and staff left … now that I am back I am cleaning house and found these still laying around…. so you may NOT get exactly what is listed. It should be 90% accurate.

They come in a velveteen bag. Read more on the tabs.

Having it expanded the range of tumbles we offered, I thought people may like to buy a mixed Big Bag of Tumbles. There are old favourites and unusual crystals.

Some are under-sized but not as small as the micros/mini. Some I had excess of so am happy to discount to help these find homes. The tumbles vary based on crystal type and size from $2 up to $6 if bought individually. The majority are $3 to $5.

Benefits of Rose Quartz (Pink Quartz)
  • An emotional healer and a stone of unconditional love.

  • Enhances love, confidence and creativity which have been supressed by a closure somewhere in the heart's energy.
  • Assists one to appreciate all things great and small.
  • Can increase fertility as the Heart chakra opens to self nurture, forgiveness and compassion.
  • Said to strengthen physical heart, chest and lungs.
Shamarah's intuitive insights
Stone for those who give a lot of love and support to others but feel "wrong" to receive it themselves. It reminds the holder to let love in because the cycle of giving and receiving love builds the love you have to be stronger. When you keep noticing the rose quartz it is often a message that you have many in the physical and spiritual realms ready to support you - so let them in to give you a hand. Stones of fertility don't just mean pregnancy, but also the development (pregnancy) and birth of your creative endeavours - your projects.

Additional Properties of Varieties

Pink toward the lavender tones

  • Opens connections between the heart and mind.

Pink with orange streaks

Inclusions of hematite.
  • Helps the heart enegy move down into the lower chakras,
    • so you "walk the love" in your life.

Geological Information

Geological Information of Rose Quartz
  • Alternative name: Pink Quartz
  • Rose quartz is a type of quartz name for its colour.
General Identification
  • Type: Mineral
  • Class: Silicates
  • Category: Oxides
  • Formula: SiO2 Silicon Dioxide
  • Crystal System: Trigonal
  • Habit: 6-sided prism ending in 6-sided pyramid (typical), drusy, fine-grained to microcrystalline, massive
  • Mohs Hardness:  7
  • Luster / Diaphaneity: Transparent to nearly opaque, Vitreous, in massive: waxy or dull.
  • Colour: pale pink to rose pink
Special Notes
  • It most often grows in masses - never even finding a leading edge of crystal points.
  • Occasionally found in crystal cluster form and was officially given own name of Pink Quartz but that has now gone.
  • Rose quartz occurs in pegmatites - it forms at very high temperatures, between 400 and 700 degrees Centigrade.
  • The color is usually considered as due to trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese, in the material.
    • Recent X-ray diffraction studies suggest that the color is due to thin microscopic fibers of possibly dumortierite within the quartz.
  • "Star" Rose Quartz has microscopic rutile needles which produces an asterism in transmitted light.
  • The crystalline form in elestial in form was originally not called rose quartz and was called Pink Quartz.
    • Often over grew smoky quartz.
    • Found to leach very fast in UV light!
    • Synthetic versions exist.
    • These days all forms are called Rose Quartz.
  • Irradiation may cause the formation of smoky quartz color centers and add a gray tone.
  • Streaks of orange can occur from iron coating.
  • Mostly used for jewellery and decorative objects.
