This is rainbow amethyst and I have put it up not because I want to sell man-coloured crystals but as a warning to buyers. If you do want it that is AOK but read more in the Tabs.

This is a lovely rainbow amethyst cluster and is not what you think, Amethyst does NOT come looking like this in these Brazilian clusters. I have seen the man-treatment done even on caves without disclosure that it is NOT the real colour.

I believe they have spray painted it as the cost is too low to be the USA bonding technique used in aura quartz. They have been painted in order to get an unattractive cheap crystal to have sales appeal. The original colour is a very pale purple. And I don’t mind it if you are buying for a young child or decorative as long as you know the treatment. I doubt it has help the crystals energy at all. In fact it feels duller.

Your inner child however will benefit from the sparkly rainbows so if that what you need help with then enjoy its colours.
