This crystal is a member of the serpentine family, as is jade. But geologically it is not a jade, it is bowenite. I bought these as jade from a supplier after asking specifically that it be the real thing … even I get caught!
However energetically, new jade is similar but gentler than “regular” serpentine in how it gives its assistance into your field. It increases love and nurturing to bring harmony. It stabilises the personality and promotes self-sufficiency allowing better quality friendships.
