Australian Koroit Conglomerate Opal

Here is Australian and it’s not easy to get a 569.85 Carat Koroit Conglomerate Opal. For me it’s the first time I have bought a group. I see it being of most interest to a geological style buyer or an Australian shaman who loves to explore the unusual?

It has been cut and polished by a Queensland prospector. They are famous for their deep, strong ironstone with stunning patterns and inclusions of colour. Because of the soft matrix they can only get a matt shine else they lose the opal altogether! It could be set as a large pendant if you are OK with the weight.

The opal is in very small pockets and the matrix has a lovely pattern. The video helps you to see it.

This crystal gives us a fresh perspective on life whenever we are feeling stuck in a rut. It lightens the heart and shares with us its relaxed soothed. Use it to amplify your discernment. It is said to treat the physical heart as well as the liver and kidneys.
