Moroccan Goniatite Fossil – Large

Here is my last large fossilised marine animal called a Goniatite. It is from Morocco and is polished on all side except the base. It does stand upright so good for a shelf or display cabinet.

Please know that the Marin were not the greatest quality. And like most some cracking and re-healing from earthquakes but that’s because they are so very old and Morocco is now desert. And a fair amount of jasper is added to this shape.

Ammonite

• Now extinct, the ammonite mollusk was a shelled cephalopod, usually appearing in a coiled, spiral shape . This fossilized sea creatures which appeared 435 million years ago.
• Also known as "shaligram shila" in India.
• Many aboriginal cultures believed it brought good luck e.g. especially relating to new growth aka pregnancy, small business. Helps recall from Akashic records - wisdom of past, present, future.

Ammolite, Opalised Ammonite

• Ammonite with its external side showing flashes of two or more of: blue, red, purple, green, orange, yellow.
